Irish youngster on trial with West Ham

|

Ireland under 15 and Cork City FC young player Joe O’Brien-Whitmarsh spent last week with Preston and is now on trial for the Hammers scoring four goals against Ipswich in a youth game on Saturday.

The midfielder currently plays for Cork’s Academy and the Ireland Under-15’s for which he has made ten appearances so far.

The young scholar is tipped to leave Ireland to find his fortune and build his football career in England. He is hoping West Ham give him an opportunity in the Academy. Scoring four goals on his debut West Ham trial game will do him no harm and is managed by Integral Sports Management.

The company was co-founded by celebrity West Ham fan Ray Winstone who has the role of ambassador and mentor.

Earlier this week Integral Sports Management commissioned Bianca Westwood to interview West Ham captain Mark Noble.

Young Joe might be one to watch for the future.
