Ray Stewart: “I only see one result at Wolves”

CandH’s exclsuive blogger, former Hammers hero Ray Stewart casts his eye over tonight’s game and comes to one conclusion.

So – and it seems after an eternity – we move on to Wolves tonight and I only see one result at Wolves tonight.

West Ham may not always have been at their best coming back from an international break but the incentives – with Europe ahead – are immense and I don’t see them failing.

This is a Hammers team with a totally different mentality to most before them over the last few years and they are always gonna test every team they meet.

The days when some of these teams thought: “Oh it’s only West Ham are gone” – and tonight I expect us to show Wolves what we are all about and win the game.

David Moyes has admitted he has a few injury worries so whatever team he puts out won’t be a surprise but these are all players who of the same type – they give everything and know how to overcome those setbacks.

I hope to see Mikey Antonio back to his very best tonight as he has looked to me as if he may be carrying something recently.

There’s no more whole hearted player in the team and he needs a couple of goals – tonight might well be the night.

A nice win will settle us for what’s ahead with the .likes of Leicester and Chelsea on the agenda and I’m confident – a Hammers win.

There are rumours Declan Rice IS injured. He is supposed to have came back from England with injury. I hate rumours and pray it is not true just scare mongering. Good win tonight to takes up back up to fourth.
