Iron won’t be going to Leeds or anywhere else

Leeds may be preparing to come to the London Stadium this weekend in the FA Cup but they need not bother preparing a bid to sign Manuel Lanzini this January.

The attacking midfielder may be wanted by the Whites as they attempt to strengthen their squad in the winter window.

But he has just hit top form after his stunner at the weekend against Crystal Palace and a top Hammers insider has told us that there is zero chance of the Argentina international moving on in January, unless there is an absolutely mammoth bid tabled by Leeds.

We have reported previously that the Irons view Lanzini as a hugely valuable asset to the squad and he could well be given the opportunity to become the first-choice attacking midfielder at the club, with Said Benrahma heading off to the African Cup of Nations.

Recently, the Argentine has scored brilliant goals all over the place, having also netted a stunner against Spurs last season in that famous 3-3 draw.

He will be remaining a Hammer for the foreseeable future with David Moyes having commented several weeks ago he has never had any intention of letting him leave the club.
