Irons can hammer final nails in coffin

|

Saturday November 23, 2019 could become the date of Tottenham death for Maurocio Pochettino with final nails being hammered into his coffin.

With Hammers fans and the media speculating on Manul Pellegrini’s future, there looks to be even more pressure on the bloke in the opposite dug out.!

ForĀ  The Telegraph has billed this London derby as make or break for Tottenham’s season and declared that it would raise the most serious question over the manager’s future.

Pochettino – having been linked with numerous top jobs a few months ago – now appears to be on the brink and were an out of touch Irons outfit to put it across the North Londoners it could be the beginning of the end.

The man himself has now suggested he may not be given time to continue what he considers to be a rebuilding process at the club but Spurs have won just three league games this season and only six of their last 24.

Their away record is woeful too, having not won in the league away from home since January, and a loss against the struggling Hammers would mount more pressure on the Argentine boss.

Certainly Pele is not under that sort of pressure with regular reports emerging he will be given well beyond Christmas to sort things.

For Pochettino, however, defeat for his misfiring out could see the end approaching.
