West Ham won’t be rushed into making Manuel Lanzini’s loan move to  the club permanent but will judge the player’s performance over the season.

A fee has been agreed with  Al Jazira Club for the midfielder who has made a big impression over the early games of the season.

And Slaven Bilic singled him out for special praise after the game against Sunderland saying: “I like him a lot as a player and he is a big asset for us.

“He is the one that gives Payet a breather and the opportunities to get the ball when he is not marked. The two of them are really good together.”

The Irons brought the player to the club on a year’s loan and a well placed club source explained exclusively to ClaretandHugh this evening (Sun): “He’s definitely caught the eye and that’s led to fans claiming we should make the deal permanent before anyone else comes in for him.

“But that’s not the way things work. A fee has been agreed should we decide to buy him. It’s quite high as are his wages without them being silly.

“We will watch him over the season and make our decision at the end but we are comfortable with the arrangement we have in place. There’s certainly no reason to rush a decision.”

Yep,he works well with Payet for sure.I enjoy watching him, hope he can keep going throughout the season. He really is a little lightweight dwarf but seems to not mind getting stuck in sometimes 😉

Early days but i have enjoyed what i have seen of him & he does work well with Payet. If he continues as he is doing will be a very decent permanent signing

  • slaven a laugh says:

he has great potential. condsidering his age and everything, to buy him is a no brainer because he will only increase in value in the future. I think he could be as good as coutinho in the future but at worst I think he will be as good as Eyal berkovic or yossi benyoun.
