Irons Czech investor rumour doing the rounds

|

Speculation that West Ham are ready to welcome a new investor into the club in the form of a Czech source have been claimed this afternoon.

But should it be the case he/she is likely likely be welcomed by David Sullivan and David Gold who have been looking for  new investors since they took over the club .

A  story that David Gold could sell a portion of his shares to the investor was claimed by ExWHUemployee on his podcast and repeated on Football Insider by supposed finance boffin Kieran Maguire.

Maguire said: “He ( Gold) may be doing this as part of his long term succession planing in terms of his personal wealth.”

In reality any new investors are unknown to the board at this point but should there be one they could receive a small portion of the shares as was the case with American Tripp Smith .

The Hammers duo would welcome the right type of investor as they have always maintained but they have no intention of accepting any full takeover bid  from PAI Capital or anyone else but both would likely accept a smaller investor.

Agents are regularly getting together in a bid to find investors at clubs and this is again appears to be the case as the rumour circulates around West Ham.
