Irons duo in Redknapp’s fab five

Harry Redknapp has named Diafra Sakho and Alex Song as two of his five best  buys of the season.

The former Hammers boss – writing in The Sun – said of Sakho: “He sneaked in under the radar but everyone in English football knows what he’s about now.

“He has pace and self confidence. It has been a rapid bedding-in and he started paying back the £3.5m transfer fee by rattling in the goals.

“Sakho fits well with the clubs other new signing and is the main man behind what promises to be a great season for the Hammers.

And of song Redknapp drools: “What a class act he’s turning out to be. He is a class act. It’s a real coup for a club like the Hammers to be able to nail this one.

“He is very experienced, knows his job inside out and has been a key figure in getting them into the top four his season.
