Irons end interest in former star

|

DarrenWest Ham will make no further moves aimed at bringing Robert Green to Upton Park!

Club officials were absolutely delighted with the form shown by much-maligned Darren Randolph against Bournemouth and believe they have a decent number two on their hands.

Although four goals went by the Republic of Ireland international he could not be held responsible for any of them and but for a couple of fine saves the scoreline could have been worse.

We were told: “Darren’s form in the Europa Cup matches hadn’t been encouraging and there were some worries which led to the Green moves.

“But he was excellent against Bournemouth and there’s a few relieved people around. On the back of that performance the club will stick with Darren.”

Never mind he’s only going to play another two times before Adrian’s back. Maybe he’ll get to play in the early rounds of the cups until we crash out and is made into the scapegoat. sounds like we need the money for other things. Perhaps the new striker is going to cost more than they first anticipated.

Had to feel for Randolph in the build up to today. Club looking at alternatives and some people seemed way too quick to condemn him. His confidence going into the game must have been utterly shot. Scoreline aside though I thought Darren was decent today, kept us in the game at points and apart from a dodgy clearance I don’t think he did much wrong. Need to get behind him for the next 2 as they are both different challenges but as long as the back 4 give him more protection than they did today I would be happy to see him between the sticks.

I would think sending Ginge to Norwich would not be an option after last night’s result?Yes Randolph did well under the circumstances. Not his fault we were beaten.

Rob Green left for more money – and wouldn’t come back for less – his prerogative – move on!

“Club officials were absolutely delighted’ with a keeper who lets in four….hilarious…I would have Green back in a shot..

We can have quality or go for the usual quantity!

He may have let in four but they had naff all to do with him,in fact he made a couple of blinding saves.Take the rise out of the defenders not Randolph if all you want to do his have a dig.

Keeper played all right,he is not the main problem,we were second best again,
I thought we had moved on but know turned on my iPad to look at the team could not believe Mr Nolan was in the side again, checked to see if Hippo had got his job back,
Went for a beer came back put my iPad on we are 2 down crowds booing,
Just can’t understand what’s going on at the club,
We start with 2 players who could cause concern to the opposition Payet and Sakho,
    Where were Lanzini,Samulsun,Jarvis,Lee,
Every club around us have spent money Leicester,Bournemouth,Stoke,Palace,
We will be fighting relegation if the 2 Daves don’t do something and it’s not Slav,s problem
He can only work with what he is given,
