West Ham may turn to Toulouse forward Wissam Ben Yedder as they bid to solve their problems up front.

According The People the striker will cost The Irons  around £6m and is seen as a like-for-like replacement for Enner Valencia – sidelined with ligament trouble for anything up to 12 weeks.

David Sullivan has been scouring the European leagues for a replacement and he is one of those in the frame for a move to Upton Park.
The club revealed to ClaretandHugh last night that they expected to bring their striker hunt to and end this week and were set to receive breakthroughs “on two or three fronts” by Tuesday or Wednesday.
The 25 year old has scored 47 goals in 122 games for the French outfit since 2010.

There’s only one Wissam Ben Yedder – easy for you to say!

    • WestGoaHam says:

I’m getting p!ssed off with all this scouring Europe cr@p. Get on with it and get a f*cking striker.

  • Richie says:

Is Remy not available now Chelsea have signed Pedro and that youngster? He could come in and play up top or off one of the wings and would give us the much needed pace we miss without Valencia.

  • GW says:

Who’s next the Algerian forward Whatta De Fuka, Russian forward Nodoubtawasteamoneyov or the Korean forward Me No Gud… Stop trawling bargain basement for **** sake ,Dwight Gayle is up for 6 million and actually scored in the prem…

& this is exactly the problem.Bilic has inherited a team who was only heading one way, down. The board has given minimal investment in the scheme of things, now you have fans like Kevin expecting him to wave a magic wand or turn into Harry Potter & have us in the top six.Laughable.We have won 4 games in 26 since last xmas,23 under hippo.Such short memories some people have!!!

    • GW says:

That’s what most of us have been saying Stingray during the debacle of the fat turds reign. Bilic inherited a squad full of ****e on stupid wages that no other team would touch with a barge pole, not forgetting the money that the turd was given and duly wasted on players that came and went… It’s blinkered fans like Kevin that don’t see that and crave the lump of lards return forgetting it’s the squad HE assembled that delivered nothing in 23 games and who were now lumbered with while his greasy scumbag agent of a mate counts his rising bank balance… Stability eh Kevin?? More like being mugged off I say!

      • Stingray Stewart says:

I am sick of reading these idiotic fans on here & wetpants, such short, short memories, craving the days of the hippo.Wow,what days they were.First week of Dec through to May with no Premier away win. What a fantastic season it was. What a bunch of mugs.Selective memory at its best for sure. Now the same fools officially retract their support of a manager after 3 matches.Does my head in,lol

        • GW says:

It’s an absolute joke to be honest mate ,spouting 65 years of supporting the club with all these fond memories then calling for the manager to go and holding up the most divisive of all managers as some kind of ****ing legend. Macari, Roeder , Grant were nightmare managers Kev, the tub of lard has made a career based on nothing other than leaving clubs with ageing squads and the press calling him a ****ing messiah… Kev attacks Zola but guess what he actually achieved 50 points and never got relegated without spending as much as the turd.. I’ll call you out Kev you profess your love of the club over decades but only seem to remember the last 4 years, any fan knows we ain’t world beaters but follow us through thick and thin, whereas you turn your back after 3 games! Loyal fan what a load of ********

As dear kevin told me i’m uneducated last night i’m not sure if i could give my views, i’ve got my “street cred” to worry about…. shall i wait for him to tell me what i’m allowed to say as everything he says is gospel..? “how long have you been a west ham supporter..?” Over 40yrs you jumped up c*nt, fukcing little prik, who does he think he is??
Anyway…. now i’ve got that out my system…
tbh i’ve never heard of this Den Yedder, 47 goals in 5 yrs isn’t prolific is it, a like for like replacement for Valencia…. we need a striker who can score around the 20 mark a season. You know things are tough if Maiga scores.

    • Stingray Stewart says:

Dont worry Essex, you wasnt alone being on the end of Kevins bs yesterday.I think everyone got a mouthful off of him.He should be proper proud of himself today, lol 😀

      • Stingray Stewart says:

Wetpants has CAPLOCKS MAN,we have Kevin, lol, though the highlight of reading wetpants matchthread yesterday was seeing one guy call Gobyac a ‘forum parasite’ & another call him ‘poison’,haha, good to see they all love him as much as we do 😀

  • GW says:

I know he’s a favourite of mine lol.. Was more impressed that someone was calling him Floppysac should have trademarked that one!

  • bubs says:

We have missed so many good Forwards trying to be pound shop buyers,
This is the time Ds,Dg if you want to stay up spend £30 million now and turn our season round or Spend £30 million in December when we could be 9 points from safety,
Don’t expect Slav to produce a miracle when all around other clubs are spending big,
    Nolan,JOB,Jarvis,Magia are championship at best,
The kids need time and to play with quality,
And Hippo would not have saved you and I will never watch match of the day again,

Tbh I’m tired of all the nearly there tweets about strikers. Whilst I, too am guilty of reading all the stuff on “NewsNow West Ham All Sources”, in reality I’d be happier to hear nothing until we’ve actually signed someone.

  • Dunlopilo says:

And by the way, Mirallas is again on the bench today for Everton… Player signs a three year deal, then they bring in Deulofeu, and he sits on the bench. He must fell happy I bet….
