Irons fans on Zaza’s first half at Palace

|

Zaza has been the name on everybody’s lips this week – this is how various CandH Facebook Forum members saw the Italian’s first half against Palace.

zaza2O Thirteen minutes in and we look different. Better, more focused, playing with intent

O Let’s hope Zaza is starting to  settle into the premiership.
O Let’s give the guy a fair chance…. come on!!!
O Looks a lot more committed today. Hopefully it continues. I think Tonks outpaced him though
O I can’t believe it, he actually ran!!!
O Zaza useless verging on disgraceful so far since he came . Maybe this is his chance to do something if he gets the ball coz he won’t go looking for it
O Winning a lot of headers from Adrian s kicks
O Tracking back. That’s what we want.
O A goal just might make the difference to him 🙏

He has done fine in the first half.No world beating performance but just fine.
Maybe some fans should try supporting him while he is with us.Not just fire rubbish at him because they dont know their ass from their elbow Lol

What a referee… 2 yellow cards in 2 minutes, the first one was a joke, it was a penalty kick… COYI!

  • Tone not Tore says:

    3 points though Matte.Lovely COYI

  • Eddie says:

Great performance. The lads really put in a shift, excellent commitment & spirit.
    Joke sending off though.
This result should shut the moaners up for a week at least hehe 😀

    And relax….. phew 🙂 🙂

  • Neil Down Under says:

His first touch was better today, not great, but better. He put in a shift though and put himself about, his reaction at the final whistle says a lot about his desire for the team.
    COYI ⚒

  • slaven a laugh says:

Zaza gave everything for the cause today and that will do for me.

    • Eddie says:

Exactly Slaven. He worked his balls off today.Put in a real shift.Im sure it wont be enough for some though 🙂

  • RickHammer says:

Im well happy for Bilic. All this bloody stupid sack him or he aint got a scooby coming from some of our fans.

  • Michael Miller says:

He worked hard, plenty of effort – still useless though!

  • Stan The Man says:

Thats it Michael, cheerful as ever lmao

I like zaza. He was brilliant today. Sprang up like salmon 3/4 times and controlled ball lovely on his chest. Shame no goal to go with his efforts.once he gets his first goal he will get better and better. But noble was a load of ****. 8 stray passes putting palace on front foot

  • northern hammer 1972 says:

Zaza was superb today. His reaction at final whistle said it all.
The player that worries me is ogbonna who was shocking.

  • bubs says:

Obi ant is making so much difference and Kouyate settled the defence down,
But Cressie was the difference he brings the best out of Payet and that performance by Lanzini including the work rate was world class,
As for our man Zaza, today he worked harder then he has before, put his body infront of the defenders and played others in,all that when most of the time he was solo up top,
But still does not look like getting that first goal,
No Noble in front of the back 4 slowing the ball down was better and although his passing was terrible he got his tackling back to the standard we need,
Today we looked up for it and with Payet and Lanzini giving us the class,we looked top 6 again,
We should have won by more but that will come,
