Irons midfielder suffers new injury

The midfielder arrived as a late sub in the game at former loan club Bournemouth and picked up a knock which may keep him out of consideration for the match at the London Stadium on Saturday.

However, sources inside the club are now being careful in their initial assessments given the early ‘ no real worries’ surrounding Lukasz Fabianski.

Wilshere has not been a regular first team pick for several weeks now and in total since his arrival on £100k a week has made just 14 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers whilst on a wage of £100k a week.

Claret and Hugh was told this morning by a senior club insider on the phone: ” He got injured again at Bournemouth, hopefully it’s not much.”

Wilshere still has 18 months of his contract to run and has made just four appearances to add to the eight he made last year at PL level.
