Irons scouts on the prowl

Euro2016West Ham will be sending scouts to Euro 2016 but are unlikely to be clinchng any deals ahead of the competition in France.

Despite plenty of hopeful speculation that we will be completing deals over the next two or three weeks, the Irons are struggling to get land initial targets.

And de factor director of football David Sullivan is not a man who will be held to ransom on prices with value for month the key issue in all deals.

We were told this morning that the European Finals would be allowed to pass and though no doubt there will be negotiations with agents, deals are very unlikely to be concluded.

Our souce said: “We will obviously have scouts in place keeping an eye open at possible targets but we are relaxed about the situation. There’s plenty of time.”
