Irons slap £30 million plus price on top man

|

andy-carroll-west-ham-arsenal_3445626Slaven Bilic has absolutely no intention of selling Andy Carroll to China after all the recent interest.

And a club source told ClaretandHugh they would need a bid in advance of £30 million for any interest to be registered in the possibility anyway.

Despite his injury record the Hammers still believe that they have a prize asset on their hands who can lead the club to a tremendous end of season and into next season.

Our source said:  “Naturally a lot is made of AC’s injuries but he was very unlucky to pick up the groin problem and we believe he’s now through that.

“We have sorted out his long term problems with ankle and knee but groins are an issue that any player can pick up. now he can stay fit for a long time and if that turns out to be the case he’s priceless.”

Bilic, meanwhile, added: ““You know how much I rate him and how much we rate him. We want to keep him.”

The only way we will get paid 30 million quid is if he is sold to China. No British or European team will pay that.Tell you what though a Chinese team would pay that for him without a shadow of a doubt if you look at the over-inflated prices they have paid in the last two years for mediocre ‘Stars’.
Slaven isnt a bs merchant if he said there were tentative approaches then there was.

Well im sure if the Chinese were interested in the window just gone they will still be interested come the next transfer window.
Who knows whether a bid was made or not.Us fans certainly dont know. Not even the ones who think they know everything lol

Why do posters (elsewhere) question every story that comes out of West Ham? The Chinese making a £30M bid for Carroll is perfectly feasible. West Ham have reason to lie about as Carroll would undoubtedly be aware of it. Equally there can be only response to such an equiry with 15/16 games left. NO!!! There would’ve been uproar if we had sold him from the same people moan we didn’t buy a striker in January. Talk about damned if you do damned if you don’t.

While I’m at it (as I’ve not logged on all day. You know, having a life and all that) the same goes for the critics of the proposed new one year rolling contract. a) Slaven still has 18 months left b) what’s not to like about the guantee of a 12 month payout if he gets sacked? £3M thank you very much and c) long contracts are worthless. If a manager has a 4 year contract and gets the sack after one year he’ll only get money till he finds another job. Slaven would not be out of work for more than a year so anything beyond one year is pointless.

West Ham are happy Slaven is happy why can’t certain fans be happy? Good for Slaven good for our club.

Who cares GW. Opportunity knocks to offload a crock and get a sound forward.A.C will always be injury prone.
