Irons top striking pair set for action

|

CarrollsakhoAndy Carroll is ready to travel to Manchester today and is likely to be included in the  squad for the game at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Slaven Bilic dropped a hint last night that the injury ravaged front man may now be called up for first team duty at some stage for the match.

And ClaretandHugh was told this morning that AC is expected to travel with the lads  today and is expected to be on the bench for the game against United.

It will be his first game of the campaign and should he get on could provide an interesting head to head with United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Carroll’s inclusion would come only three days of first training and follows growing frustration from fans on his situation with a widespread section of West Ham fans.

His inclusion, however, would see a revival of the front line partnership wit Diafra Sakho who is set for his second game back after his own injury problems.
