The Brazilian midfielder collapsed in the match against Bristol City after producing the assist for Bowen’s goal but now the pair now look set to spend some time on the side lines.
Some outlets claim that Paqueta could be out for over a
month but no specific Bowen update is available according to our sources at the London Stadium,
However, Paqueta will be seeing an expert specialist this evening as he bids to get to the bottom of his knee ligament problem which he suffered in the Premier League.
Our source said: “Nobody knows for sure on either of them but its not good news. Paqueta will be seeing another expert tonight.”
In the case of Bowen we were told that it is difficult to take a scan to discover the nature of the injury with the player’s ankle so badly swollen and he will have to wait until it has subsided for further investigations to be carried out
Meanwhile Konstantinos Mavropanos is suffering from a rib/chest injury and it is hoped he will be ready for action against Bristol City next week.
