It’s official: Irons fans are the best!

|

Irons fans can claim to be the best in Great Britain after research revealed that their stadium has been 99.75 per cent full on average this season.

Premier League fans around nearly all of the clubs can be proud of their support this season, with only two sides seeing their stadium less than 90 per cent full on average so far in 2015-16 – only two non-Premier League clubs are averaging more than 90 per cent attendance in the UK this season.

process (1)Research by MyVoucherCodes shows that Upton Park is the fullest ground of all 92 in the football league, narrowly beating Norwich City’s Carrow Road (99.71 per cent) and Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United (99.47 per cent). Arsenal, Chelsea and Stoke City are the only other three Premier League clubs to beat 99 per cent attendance.

Ooooh I say….and by default, we must be the best at clutching at straws….!

  • Radai Lama says:

Don’t know if ‘best’ is the right word.If you use that term you are then saying Manure fans are the 3rd Best in the country,Arse 4th,Chelski 5th.Don’t think so 🙂

  • bubs says:

Should be judged on away fans as well as home,we would still be top I think but the ones below would change
Fleetwood Town above the Spuds seems about right,
Coy that’s bit butch are you one of Liddys lovelies
Just researching because Rads told me to keep my arse to the wall ?

    • COYI247 says:

You can keep your arse to the wall, you old tart!…Oooh you’re just a big tease!

      • Radai Lama says:

after the first year at the OS.
60 000 nutters in one lump.

  • West Ham Exile says:

This season was always going to be a sell out no?.Be good to see where we are in a few seasons, whether we are still up there or the OS novelty value wears off.Depends where we are in the league as well I suppose. Can awlays tell when it’s international break all sites are coming out with random factoids & rubbish, lol

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

Well done us and Fleetwood aswell !!!

  • bubs says:

If we are in the championship we will still fill the ground,
We are not some Billionaires play thing like City and Chelski,
Once people get those season tickets they will stay in the family,

  • West Ham Exile says:

Don’t want to p#ss on your parade but we couldn’t even fill UP all the time last season bubs.Let’s see how things are in a couple of years.Really, really hope you are right mate but I ain’t so convinced if I’m honest.

  • bubs says:

Come on would you really pay good money to watch a Hippo side playing for 0-0 draw every game, with a manager who treated you like arse scrapings,
But even then the ground was nearly full every game,
Surely that is the real answer to the problem
As you know my favourite word is entertainment and if you dish that up week in week out the ground will be fall,so it’s up to the owners to demand that from manager and staff and then provide the back up to make that happen
Then you have a good viable business that makes money and
    HAPPY FANS
