Lassana Diarra could be set for a return to the Premier League after FIFA finally cleared him to join a new club according to ESPN claims.
Diarra who trained with West Ham for many months under Allardyce’s reign has been left in limbo after leaving Lokomotiv Moscow last August as he was not able to join another club because of a contract dispute with the Russian club.
The France international claims he was fired by Lokomotiv which left him as a free agent, but administrative issues have prevented Diarra from playing for a new club.
It is claimed Diarra has already rejected an offer from Monaco this summer as he holds out for a Premier League club.
Whether Slaven Bilic revives West Ham’s interest in the 30 year old remains to be seen.
