Lazio’s astonishing Anderson fee finally revealed

|

Exclusive

ClaretandHugh can tonight reveal the astonishing price tag Lazio have placed on Felipe Anderson.

Various prices between £30 million – £40 million have been quoted as this long running saga has continued.

But the reality is that the Serie A outfit want £40 million up front and another £10 million in add ons taking the 25 year old Brazilian’s possible final cost up to £50 million.

The Irons have £31 million on the table plus another £6 million in add-ons and have no intention of going any higher for the player .

There remains a remote outside chance that a deal could happen but only on the basis of Lazio coming back to the Hammers later in the transfer window when presumably there will have been no interest beyond our own.

As reported previously an £80k a week salary has been agreed with the player but the club refuse to budge and with no other interest from the Premier League the Hammers refuse to be forced into paying Lazio’s “one and only price.”

If Anderson really is a world class player and he wants to play in the premier league I shouldn’t it think it will be long before one of the big boys comes in for him. Can’t Imagine one of the premier league big boys haggling over the price either. It will be there’s your money bosh. Job done.

I heard Lazio will have to pay 25% sell on fee to his former club Santos if they sell Anderson which is probably why they are trying to add fees themselves to cover their losses.

Well if there really are no other PL clubs in for him and the personal terms have been met, then a game of brinkmanship is par. I haven’t seen enough of Anderson to know how much of an impact he could have on our team, but previously when we’ve chisled out a deal for a gem of a player for a relatively low ball figure ( Payet) it has led to a lot of resentment from the selling club.

BTW I voted no in the Poll
