London Stadium gets exciting new party deck

|

London Stadium will introduce a new event space, claimed to be the first of its kind in the UK this summer they claim

The North Scoreboard Deck will provide a versatile area inside the main bowl for up to 1,000 attendees and is available to hire for corporate events and parties.

Guests can take in the pitch and surroundings while watching a sports screening, or a performance on a stage while on the deck.

London Stadium said Government COVID-19 regulations can be safely managed within the outdoor space, while shielded from the weather by the venue’s roof.

In addition, the football pitch will be available to hire from the end of the current 2020-21 season, including the full match-day experience, with home and away dressing rooms, a tunnel walk, and LED scoreboards.

Graham Gilmore, CEO of London Stadium, said: “The adaptability of our Stadium allows us to adjust to the current situation and provide something extra special for our guests when they return. The spectacular North Scoreboard Deck creates a new opportunity for screenings or VIP experiences in-bowl, while enjoying the incredible scenery of the venue. Add the chance to play on the world class pitch, and you have an outstanding offering for visitors this summer.”

The North Scoreboard Deck represents the latest enhancement to London Stadium. At the end of last year, London Stadium upgraded to a 5G network and transitioned to a fully cashless venue as part of plans to enhance the experience for fans.

London Stadium also installed a state-of-the-art LED lighting system improving visibility and uniformity on the field of play. A new seating configuration bringing the seats closer to the pitch, and offering more versatility when transitioning for summer concerts and sports, was completed back in August.
