Hammers confirm Southampton ballot details

|

West Ham messaged and emailed season ticket holders today offering an opt-out before the ballot is held.

The email read: ‘As an eligible Season Ticket Holder, should you wish to exempt yourself from attending the match against Southampton, please click and complete the appropriate form. If you do not wish to attend or be considered for a ticket in the Southampton ballot, the form to exempt yourself is now open. Please complete the form via the button below by 12 pm Wednesday 12th May. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming you back to London Stadium.”

As Claret and Hugh revealed last week the Southampton match will see the welcome return of 10,000 Hammers supporters to London Stadium, only the second time fans have been able to attend a match since March 2020

All full-paying Season Ticket Holders who renewed for the 2020/21 season will be automatically entered into the ballot, with the exception of those who attended the Manchester United game earlier this season.

Season Ticket Holders who were successful in the Crystal Palace ballot in December will receive first priority, after the match was played without supporters present

Club London Members will be communicated with directly about their attendance at the Southampton fixture and the subsequent plans (any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your dedicated Relationship Manager or call 0208 114 2442 to speak to a member of the team who will be happy to help)

Digital tickets will be distributed from 11 am on Friday 21 May, following completion of a health declaration form

Full information and a Q&A regarding the matchday experience, including any health and safety protocols that apply to attend this match, including a Code of Conduct, will be communicated directly to those Season Ticket Holders in due course

Doesn’t seem to include disabled season ticket holders? My autistic son who goes with me has not had email or message.

Just contacted club and only the lead season ticket holder gets the notification re ballot but all in group will be in ballot. So disabled are not excluded, system makes sense but could have been made clearer.
