Maiga’s misery continues

|

It looks like Modibo Maiga misery is continuing as he was an unused substitute for Ligue 1  teammaiga  FC Metz who enjoyed a 3-0 home victory over Reims without his services over the weekend.  Maiga has made just two appearances for the French side since joining but has failed to make a break through and hold down a permanent position in the first team.

The 26-year-old will spend the rest of the season at Metz, who also have an option to buy the player.

Diafra Sakho who was sold by FC Metz to West Ham over the summer for an initial fee of £3.5m has the complete opposite experience by scoring four goals from four games and cementing his position in the West Ham first team.

Metz’s promotion to Ligue 1 this season is after six years in the French lower divisions.

The thing that really gives me sleepless nights is the fact that Mogadon is only on loan and if/when he fails to impress at Metz he might have to come back!!!!!
