Man U interest in Iron can’t be entirely dismissed

|

Oxford-604905Reece Oxford is AGAIN being linked with a move away from the Hammers and that could spell trouble.

Such has been the regularity of the reports that it is becoming difficult to believe there is no truth in any of them.

The Mail is reporting the club are bracing themselves for a formal offer from Manchester United and with good links to the club it would be unwise to dismiss the story completely.

They have revealed that United remain “firmly interested  following the arrival of Jose Mourinho as boss.”

And they claim the Hammers believe an offer will arrive sooner tather than later and perhaps even as early as this week.

The report adds: ‘West Ham want £10million for Oxford, but Sportsmail understands the Old Trafford club are prepared to pay in-excess of that sum to secure the teenager.’

Oxford,  has two years remaining on his contract and when Claret andHugh contacted the club recently we were told there was no concern given the length of the contract and that they were in control of the situation.

However, a £10 million plus for a teenager bid would be bound to test the Irons resolve.

Press talk I’d imagine. How comes Marcus Radhford the semi-proven wonder kid striker is set to sign a 20k a week deal. Yet our very own Reece (unproven yet to play a handful of games most likely to be loaned out) is wanting 40k per week?…this is just journalism highlighting big club little club scenario
