Marko’s agent breaks silence

|

Marko’s agent Danijel Arnautovic has broken silence since the news broke that he was trying to engineer a move to China for his bother

Speaking to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol,  Danijel allegedly said “He’s not a cow or a horse which you bring to market. He’s a highly talented footballer who’s simply being used by West Ham. He’s just a number to them.

West Ham were trying to get rid of Marko right up until the last minute of the January transfer window and they are still trying to sell him right now. West Ham are still speaking to the Chinese club. He is still for sale and it’s simply a case of how much money West Ham can get for him”

We have come to expect nothing less from Danijel Arnautovic and his statement through Sky Sports is totally unprofessional, unbelievable and embarrassing. I am not sure what he hopes to gain from these words.

Marko might not be a cow or a horse but his brother is a man who has regularly been living off his brother with Marko hinself apparently doing nothing to stop the process.

Bit hypocritical don’t you think, is it not he who is using him like a commodity. What a liberty , they can both go who needs the negativity .

    • Hammers64 says:

He earns more in a month than most people do in decades.Greedy *******s both and no loyalty at all.Sick of him and his parasitic brother. Its in their upbringing.

  • McMessi says:

Marko may not be a cow or a horse but Danijel is an ass.

    • John West says:

      No, he’s a parasite 😡

    • Keith Wright says:

Arnautovic is a selfish money grabbing coward. He is nothing great, if he was bigger clubs would be in for him. His brother is his puppet and everything he says is true. If we don’t get rid now he will ruin our start to next season. He doesn’t deserve to wear the shirt anymore as he is a useless waste of space. We won’t win if we keep him

  • John West says:

    No, he’s a parasite 😡

    What a complete ________!
Just a number? £100k a week seems like a bloody good number to me.
Does this idiot really think we are going to sell his cash cow for the amount he tells us to & then goes on to attack the club who have made both men rich.

  • Ray1962 says:

simply put if you are paying someone for WORK then you are one of the donkeys however if you paying someone 100,000 a week i would expect some f***ing WORK OUT OF THEM get rid for nothing as far as i,m concerned
my apologies for the bad language but these 2 deserve it

    • I’d rather have 11 Nobles in my team , a player that bleeds for my team than players like Arnautivic… or for that matter the Pogbas of this world.Their unappreative personality towards the fans suck…they need to know what it’s actually like to work for their money..Get rid of him ASAP…

  • Ray1962 says:

as i have said before loyalty does not cost anything just take a look at Mr noble he isnt on megga bucks like a lot of people in this game but he doesnt talk through other people if Marko had any balls which i dont think he has (acts all hard and all that) he would say what the hell he likes but he doesnt goes through a (person) hmmmmm who thinks he is somebody however like history he will be found out

    • Dom says:

Arnautovic has been described as a wannabe Zlatan in the past. Key difference… Zlatan had the balls to say whatever he wanted! Marko hides behind his brother.

  • Andrew Norris says:

    Utter ####, f*** him off

  • Good Ole Daze says:

I can understand players wanting to earn for their families and their futures but there are professional ways to go about it. Isn’t £100K a WEEK not enough, in any case? If this story is even 10% true, it shows the Arnautovic brothers are totally disrespectful and have no class. Get a few more million on the deal and send them East one way asap.

It all makes you appreciate those players who some regularly say should be sold because they’re not good enough, but who actually WANT to play for us – I’m thinking about Snodgrass, Noble, Antonio etc. COYI.

  • John Harrison says:

Well said, Sean. They were blinded by Chinese money at Christmas and completely mercenary about it. Nothing has changed. The problem was that West Ham DIDN’T see him as just a number. They should now! I don’t want to see this guy kiss an Irons shirt again…

  • ExPatHammer says:

I’ve previously given Marko the benefit of the doubt. I’m now disgusted. His own silence is deafening – but, really, what’s he going to say other than – “It ain’t true” – which, well, he hasn’t.

Oh, well, the Life and Times of West Ham United. Always Hiding.

  • if that was my brother I would kick in the nuts. what if the deal doesn’t come off. It’s going to be fun for Arnie at West Ham and the fans are going to give it to you and so they should.

    SELL HIM NOW

  • Graham W says:

The club should have managed him out in January. He is over 30 and of declining value, nevermind the fact he hasn’t played well since this first kicked off. To get back the 25million paid for him would set us up nicely to replace him.

The club, Arnie and his brother all use the media as part of the negotiating process and Claret and Hugh has certainly been pushing a fair share of the clubs anti-Arnie views to make sure he is seen as the villan in this story.

    • Hard to find another villain Graham. Maybe you believe signing a new deal in January and blackmailing the club in July is acceptable. I think you will find the the club’s anti Arnie line is a flawed point given that. However, you will probably also find the vast majority of fans are anti Arnie but if you find his attitude acceptable allowing you to have a pop at us fair enough. Look forward to hearing from you and thanks for taking the time to get in touch 🙂

      • Graham W says:

Hi, sorry wasn’t having a pop at Claret & Hugh, keep up the good work!. Point I was trying to make was that you guys get the insider view from the club which clearly sees Arnie as the villan, his brother agent goes the other way slinging mud at the club. Either way there is a villan, when the reality is we’ve got an unsettled player that isn’t playing at his best and we should have quietly moved him on as the club doesn’t win holding on to him. Where could we have finished if we swapped out an unhappy Arnie for a 20million motivated striker last January?

    • Good Ole Daze says:

Errrrr … cos he is … again.
