Masuaku plays! Antonio on bench for Saints clash

|

No photo description available.David Moyes has chosen to make what many will consider an astonishing decision by preferring to play Arthur Masuaku at left back rather than on the bench Ben Johnson against the Saints this afternoon.

That will raise many many eyebrows as the Hammers look to continue their great recent season form over Saints and given Moyes himself has admitted he is no defender seems incredibly illogical.

Beyond that Nikola Vlasic is included after a good game against Spurs and Benrahma is back for Lanzini which many will find predictable.

Mikey Antonio clearly passed both of his lateral covid tests this morning as he is included but only on the bench with Jarrod Bowen continuing up front.

Moyes clearly decided that with him having been out of form in recent games and having noit been training he would not be match fit but most will hope that he can make a sparkling super sub appearance if required.
