Masuaku update

|

Arthur Masuaku is making his first tentative steps back towards first-team action although it will be a while before he makes a first-team appearance.

The left-sided midfielder having had clean-out surgery on a troublesome knee injury and, in recently estimating the time he could be missing, manager David Moyes said it may be a couple of months.

There was a risk that Arthur may have to return for further surgery if he still felt troubled by the issue but currently, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

We understand the player has reported he is no discomfort and it’s now a case of allowing the wound to heal and the player to step up his training routine.

Current his knee is still in a brace but he is able to do weights and other gym work as he eyes a return to first-team action before the end of this exciting Hammers season

Wishing him a speedy recovery! He will have a hard time breaking back into the first team, but suspect he will persevere.
