Mikey makes up his mind on Jamaica air miles

|

Mikey Antonio has made his mind up – he will be travelling to represent the Reggae Boys in their upcoming international games during the next break.

As we reported earlier he has been called up by Jamaica for the games against El Salvador away  on the 13th and the USA three days later at home.

It means he will fly 5,368 miles between the UK and El Salvador, then 825 miles to Jamaica, and 4,649 miles back to London.

Despite putting out of the last international break he has decided that he will be travelling for these two games.

And he will be put under no pressure by the club not to compete given that he has made himself available to the country after being snubbed by England.

Sources inside the club have made it clear to Claret and Hugh that the 31 year old will definitely be travelling for the two games.

We were told: “He will definitely travel – that is his plan.”
