Mikey plots Newcastle celebration

|

Mikey Antonio insists he is set to mock Callum Wilson if he scores against Newcastle this weekend.

The Hammers are taking on the Magpies in a huge game this weekend.

The Irons are still pushing for qualification to the Champions League and sit two points behind Manchester United in fourth as the season progresses.

The Magpies, by comparison, have climbed clear of the relegation zone and are now four points clear of 18th-placed Norwich City, while they also have a game in hand on the Canaries.

They have moved clear of the drop zone without Wilson, who is currently on the sidelines with a serious injury, and Mikey has confirmed that he intends to take the mickey out of the forward this weekend if he hits the back of the net.

Speaking to Wilson on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, as per Sport Bible, Mikey said: “It is definitely going to be a hard game with the way you guys have performed in the past few weeks, you see the resilience in your team, and we’ve shown that as well.

“We’ve basically gotten things even though we’ve not performed at our best.

“Three points are needed to be fair, we’re going for this fourth spot so we can’t let up.

“We have to go for it, and as much as I like you and the relationship that we’ve built on this podcast, we can’t let up, and if I score this weekend I will throw up a W for you.”

Mikey has history of remarkable celebrations, previously ordering a cardboard cutout of himself and lifting it up after scoring.
