West Ham home kit for next season will remember a famous West Ham kits of yesteryear.
The new home kit is claimed to a modern replica of the 1999-2001 Claret kit with Blue-collar worn by Paolo Di Canio
In the late nineties, this home kit became the first to abandon the blue sleeves and instead introduced a light blue band down each sleeve and white vertical piping. The collar also featured a new button design.
In the original shorts were white with claret side panels and thin blue piping, Fila logo and club badge while socks were Claret topped off with blue and two thin claret stripes.
EXWHUEmployee confirmed this fan mockup is very close to the 2021/2022 home kit and has even offered a charity bet for Great Ormond Street if the mockup is not accurate. The ITK has an image of the real Umbro home kit which is due to be released soon.
Yes to the Paolo shirt,it looks like a proper footie shirt and not like the camp cycling lycra shirts that a lot of clubs are using these days.I hope they dont opt for the Sheff utd pink for the away shirt.I would love to see the the early 80s Adidas shirt return, for me this was the best.
That is very close to the actual shirt
The away shirt is excellent, haven’t seen the 3rd shirt though
What colour are the socks and shorts?
shorts are light blue
