Mohammed Kudus suffering from a bug rumours

Mohammed Kudus is suffering from a bug according to rumours circulating on the West Ham grapevine with reports that he hasn’t travelled to Serbia for tomorrow evening’s match against Backa Topola in the Europa League. And with Jarrod Bowen also having not travelled, the Irons will be well short of power up front. Having escaped injuries of any serious note the Hammers are really starting to struggle with of course Michail Antonio also on the side lines seemingly for another week or two.

Commenting at his pre-match presser this evening David Moyes revealed that Jarrod hasn’t travelled and that “we have another couple who have some illness who haven’t travelled”. However as is the case with Moysie he chose not to reveal who they were. But we have been told by two or three behind the scenes that Kudus is one of them.

It means in real terms the only strikers who are in Serbia are Danny Ings and Divin Mubama who now looks certain to get his chance. However, Kudus will be a big miss given his ability to change games, as was the case against Burnley on Saturday when he set up the two Hammers goals.
