More delays for Anderson move

|

Hammer Felipe Anderson remains in London and has not flown to Rome for a medical on Saturday as Italian reports claimed.

Social media posts from last night show him out on the town with Chelsea’s Malang Sarr who was also at Porto FC on loan last season.

Another post shows him outside the London Babboo restaurant with Brazilian players Willian from Arsenal and Andreas Pereira from Manchester United.

The 28-year-old looked an outcast figure on Friday as he sat in the stands at Dens Park in Dundee. He was named on the bench for the first pre-season fixture but was the only outfield player not to be feature indicating the end nigh for the Brazilian playmaker at West Ham.

He has now been suggested he will fly to Rome between Monday and Wednesday next week to confirm his transfer but he will be forced to undergo a five-day self-isolation on arrival in Italy before he can join up with Lazio teammates.
