Moyes admits it’s hard to judge his performance

|

David Moyes has  admitted that it will be difficult for the West Ham board to decide on his future at the end of the season.

The manager admits he wants to win games more regularly and understands that his record at the club has fallen short of the standards hr would have set himself.

Speaking to the official site he said: “I think it’s hard to judge how I’ve done this season. I actually would like to be a manager who wins games regularly.

I don’t want to be a manager who is battling around relegation. I want to have winning teams.

“I had eleven years of, in the main, winning teams, and that’s what I want to do. I want to be challenging the top teams and have a team that, most weeks, I have an idea of what their level of performance will likely be, because that means I’m feeling a lot better every week, rather than wondering if we are up or down.

“Some of our performances here have been excellent and some I’ve wondered ‘Where did that come from?’.

“Consistency is getting yourself at a level of play and building it, and everybody would like consistency.”

According to an earlier post “Eleven for the Hammers exit door!”

So, we get rid of 11, and we’d have to sign at least another 5 on top of that because the current squad is paper thin.

Anyone think it’s possible to sell 11 players and then sign 15 new players who’ve never played together, personally I think that’s a sure fire way to ensure that we get relegated.

Reid is going nowhere as he is on a long deal of the century type contract, some of the signings are loans, e.g. Mario, Evra and Hart, Carroll is in his last year, Edi Fernandes isn’t going anywhere either as he has the potential to be a top player and doesn’t cost much in wages, can’t see Kouyate being sold either, at best we probably lose 5 but agree signing 10 is a big ask, we will have Snodgrass back woohoo lol
