Moyes facing Phillips dilemma

Kalvin Phillips is looking less and less likely to get a permanent move to West Ham United.

It has become very easy to see how he managed just four appearances for Manchester City after errors and a sending off for us.

Since then he has spent much time on the bench despite being a David Moyes priority signing in the winter and now things are looking bleaker and bleaker for the midfielder.

Newcastle United were keen before the 28 year old clinched his loan deal to the Hammers and are understood to be watching the position closely.

But any hopes City boss Pep Guardiola has of getting the £40k he paid for the player look pretty well dead in the water given his performances for the Hammers.

He will have hopes of making it into the team against Villa given the absence through suspension of Edson Alvarez as Moyes continues to insist that he needs more game time.

He needs to look at himself for match fitness and determination. His bookings have come from bad timing of tackles, vno body can sort that for him.
