Moyes gives everyone a chance to shine

|

David Moyes gave almost every fit squad West Ham player a chance to shine and impress him this afternoon in the final practise game at the London Stadium before the Hammers play Wolves next Saturday evening.

The game against Crystal Palace were split into three thirty minute segments with Moyes changing the teams around in each segment.

Claret and Hugh understand that Declan Rice was the only player to play the full ninety minutes and play in all three segments and he was given the captains armband,

West Ham goal scorers were Sebastien Haller getting his second goal in four days and Jeremy Ngakia who scored a wonder goal when he came on in the last thirty minute segment to win the practise game 2-1.

Among those appearing in official action photos were Declan Rice, Aaron Cresswell, Jack Wilshere, Pablo Fornals, Ben Johnson, Seb Haller, Manuel Lanzini, Ryan Fredericks, Felipe Anderson, Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio and Tomas Soucek.

Seems a very responsible thing to do . Two wins from two albeit friendlies could help get us off to a good start . We most definitely need one in the event the season is halted again .

Indeed it is better to win friendlies than to lose – and good to beat Palace – this season could ultimately hinge on the fact that we lost to them twice after taking the lead on each occasion – if we had won one of those …oh well let us now beat Wolves COYI
