Moyes gives his end of week squad report

hd-david-moyes-sunderland-middlesbrough_1bz2ernzj78us1byl6de0u9bvjDavid Moyes rounded off his first week’s training with the West Ham squad and gave a firm thumbs up to all of them.

And he made it clear that every player was on a new page saying: It’s a clean slate for the entire squad. They’ve all worked very hard this week and responded in a positive manner to everything we’ve asked of them.

“It will obviously take time for the players to fully understand our style and methods but the initial signs are very encouraging – they’ve bought into what we are trying to do and that’s a good base for us to build on.”

Marco Arnautovic, Chicharito, Edimilson Fernandes, Joe Hart, Cheikhou Kouyate, Diafra Sakho and Winston Reid return to the squad next week.

And Moyes said: “I’m looking forward to welcoming back the players who are on international duty and working with the full squad ahead of the game at Watford next Sunday

“Everybody will get their opportunity to impress us and there have certainly been no decisions made about individuals.

“There’s a lot of quality here and I’m confident the players will all bring something different to the table. They will need to work hard but they aren’t afraid of doing that, which has been good to see.

“Working together as a unit will be key, with the aim to try and collect positive results which will see us climb the table.”

This is good cognitive psychology on Moyes behalf..
Can’t kkep your players half-guessing or feeling they have been misunderstood.

And I also heard Moyes was spending extra time w Obiang who was great for us last season always seemed Bilic didn’t fancy him.
But maybe Moyes does & sees he has talent & gets around well with clear direction I think Obiang could be huge to our squad
