Moyes has “no time” for any slackers

|

Moyes1New boss David Moyes has left his squad in no doubt about his hard line attitude to life at West Ham.

If life was as soft as many suggest was the case under Slaven Bilic and his backroom team life is about to become one almighty culture shock for the under performing Hammers.

He has held brutally honest talks with the players collectively and individually telling them: ‘You take responsibility. ‘What’s your role? When we’ve got the ball, when we haven’t got the ball, what do you need to do?

‘That’s the sort of responsibility. Now if they are not doing that then, sorry, I’ve not got time for you.

‘The easy thing would be to come in here and say, “Look, we’re bottom of the stats for running, et cetera”. I hope by us playing better and being organised, we might up those figures as well.’

Training ground sources have also confirmed that things have changed at Rush Green in a big way with one telling  CandH: “Chalk and cheese between the last sessions and these doesn’t get close.

“They are running and chasing their butts off but there’s been a lot of tactical stuff passed on as well. It looks good.”

Let’s hope that the hard work and improved tactical thinking, translates into something positive on the field.
With Ayew out, Sakho must play, simply must!!
Perhaps Moyes will settle for a 4-4-2, which offers solidity while still offering some attacking options.
My midfield would be a little modified form a straight ‘four’
    Obiang-Lanzini (placed in a central advanced position)-Kouyate-Fernandes.
Could we be seeing Sakho playing with Carroll? Possible, but seems like an odd couple?
Moyes could surprise everyone by using either Arnauutovic or Lanzini as a secondary striker behind Sakho or ‘Father of Wolf Nine’.
I have read some dreary, depressing articles suggesting that both Noble and Carroll will start the game; if Moyes is stupid enough to do this, we will have Richarlison all over us like a rash, and may be down 0-2 by half-time.
As I said, Sakho to start Mr. Gaffer!!

If he does nothing to improve nobles performance then picking him would undermine his rhetoric of pace and job to do off the ball ! As you say max if Moyes has learnt nothing from the videos then its going to come back on him ! Be very carefully Mr.Moyes you don’t get sucked into the noble ,Carroll fairytail bull💩 ! But let’s see if you’re true to you’re word and vision !😉

No real Point in trying to outguess or pick the team for Moyes ., Max & Laz , mate’s .
Whatever he does will be severely criticized if we lose . If we win , then any selection or formation will be a relief ., and talked about to death . Moyes is inherenting a injury prone squad which is disjointed and disappointing . Even with said injuries we should be better than we are . I ,for one don’t perport to understand football as much as some people . I’m not paid for that .
But , the one outstanding and obvious thing is that all too often players were out of position and utilized badly . Lack of concentration and lethargic attitude is mainly to blame . It was Bilics job to sort that out ,,,, he didn’t .
I am a West Ham Fan first and a Football Fan second ( they go hand in hand really ) and want Moyes to do well . Heck ; I wanted Bilic to do well . We don’t have a style and we are missing flare . I only want Moyes and the team to do what needs to be done to get us Mid-Table and away from the Danger Zone . Always preferred the good old fashioned 442 in truth . Or even maybe 433 . Have never been comfortable with One up Top .

Were all together Kevin but unless we get balls coming in from the wings Carroll will be contributing nothing , get the supply and Carroll will score goals but its one dimensional !
That’s why this team needs to perform as a team and give it different options but to do that they need to pull together ! Can Moyes do that ? Don’t see why not ! But it ain’t gonna happen overnight just because they’ve intensified training ! Its deeper than that ! We need new blood in m/f and defence ! If carvhalo rumours are true that’s a start but more need to be added to the squad ! I’m not holding my breath on that one ! Or waiting up lol! I’ll believe it when it happens ? If ? 😉

Reckon Carroll has more to offer other than waiting for crosses , Laz . Seen him score some gooden’s with his boots . Just having him in the opposition’s box causes problems .
And his hold up play is second to none . Think Carroll deserves more credit . Been out injured forever and always puts in a good shift . Carroll has played in every game we didn’t lose . Hey , I like Carroll . All the well respected managers can’t be wrong .

      • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

What managers ? The slug ! Bilic! And the ones who want him on the park to snuff him out with hoof ball l Liverpool ring any bells ! What about Brighton !
Its not you stalking him is it Kev ? 😂😂
Cresswell and noble start today ffs ? Carroll up top with ayew ? Wtf!!! Let’s see what happens 😎

David Moyes “ Sweaty & Blue Army “ haaaahaha 😭😭

When Harold Steptoe is scoring against you, you know the defence is a shambles, I am not sure how many times I have said Reid is not a right sided defender but if we play 442 it’s either him or Oggy not both, We are not picking up their runners and they are outclassing us at the minute, Sakho should come on for us and either Kouyate or Noble make way. Would also like to see Rice on for one of the central defenders

  • pabloonechop says:

Ok we can stop all the high intensity training b/s; has made no difference-nobody looked any more up for it than normal. Squad just isn’t great or motivated and it’s going to get ugly as the fans focus on the board which could be clearly heard today. Can’t wait for the start time of moyes excuses- sounded to me like he had started pre k/o

Despite the defeat where we were outplayed in all departments I thought it was a massive improvement on the Bilic games, we are still not sprinting enough, we are not closing the ball down, we are careless in posession, but we were still 100 times better than we have been under Bilic. Noble and Kouyate both run around like headless chickens there is only space for one such player in the team at a time. I would keep Kouyate because at least he has some pace and some goal threat, Noble despite showing for the ball completely missed his runners and left the central defence exposed time and again, Sakho made some good runs and at least pressured there defence into making some mistakes, I was surprised seeing as we were constantly outplayed in midfield why we didn’t hit long diagonals to Carroll or Kouyate and try and create something from teh second ball, that is what they wouldn’t have wanted. I hope this was a case of Moyes giving the old guard a chance to prove themselves and now being willing to give younger hungrier players a shot. Rome wasn’t built in a day and it will take a long time to undo 2 years of mismanagement. At least we can now be realistic about the level of effort required and hopefully the players will know they have to dig deeper, Arnautovic did show some good signs before he damaged his arm or whatever it was, so maybe he can be improved also, we should look at that performance as the first step, Leicester next which is another tough game but we should have more of the ball against them, onwards and upwards COYI !!!

He will have no time for most of the team, then !

Here endeth lesson # one Moyes ! Take the fekin blinkers off and open them large eyeballs and see that zabba , no pace, Reid , not good enough. Cresswell diabolical , noble a total waste of space and no pace , chieck wants away obviously , Arnie shot of any confidence, lanzini put out wide ? Dohh!!! And Carroll should be benched on the reserves as he produced nothing again , and as for niall McDonalds how we marked the hammers assessment ? What the fek are you watching that I’m not !! Give it up mate you havent got a clue !!! Clearly a noblete and poppodom worshiper !
Hart 5 Adrian saves the second.
Zabba 3 past his sell by date .
Reid 3 move him on .
    Ogbonna 6 didn’t stop trying .
Cresswell 2 ? Brings nothing to the team .
Arnie 4 shot of any confidence..
Lanzini 4 played out of position no impact at all .
Noble 2 totally out of his depth !.
Chieck 3 simply not interested in the team .
Obiang 5 huffed and puffed no help to hand when under pressure .
Carroll 3 leads with elbow instead of example , poor everything !.
    Massuaku 5 showed promise !.
Sakho 6 did nothing wrong , starved of service !
Moyes and staff 3 picked wrong side and set up !

As for the board , dig deep because this team ain’t as good as you want us to believe you bull💩 merchants ! This team is too good to go down 😂😂😂😂😂 get to ****k ! Spend or get the fek out of my club 😈 not a happy punter !!! You’re stealing my money !!!😈
