Moyes issues Zouma update

|

David Moyes says Kurt Zouma is “ahead of schedule” in his injury recovery.

The French defender is recovering from a knee injury he sustained against Leicester before the World Cup.

Zouma has been central to Moyes’ plans this season and has made 14 starts in the Premier League.

Ahead of the game against Arsenal on Boxing Day, Moyes has confirmed that Zouma is doing well in his recovery and is likely to return to the squad quickly.

It remains to be seen if he can be included in the team to play the Gunners but it seems that he will be back on the pitch sooner rather than later.

Moyes told reporters: “Kurt Zouma’s doing really well, he’s probably ahead of schedule. He is always someone who normally comes back pretty quickly so I’m hoping that he might not be too bad. I’m not sure yet, but I’ve got to say he’s recovering really well and he’s going well.”
