Moyes may keep it Real!

MoyesmeetingDavid Moyes is by no means nailed on to become West Ham United’s next boss.

The former Everton and Manchester United boss may be preparing for a longer stay in Spain than the year left on his current deal.

The Irons were thought to have the Scot as their Number One target given he has release clause in a deal which only has just over 12 months to run.

This would be triggered should an English club make an approach and given his former chief scout Tony Henry’s arrival at Upton Park as recruitment director to the board that was considered highly likely.

However, when ClaretandHugh put that suggestion to a senior Upton Park source source we were told: “That’s not necessarily the case.

“As has been made clear on several occasions there will be no announcements until the end of the season as is the board’s practice.”

Meanwhile new reports emerging this morning suggest Moyes may be ready to stay in Spain and organise “a proper backroom set-up with several of the staff he has worked before.

  1. Do we really want Moyes? Him and Everton love all that big man up front stuff going right the way back to Duncan Ferguson, his key signings were Jelavic then Fellani who in turn was his big signing at Manc U, are we going to get Andy Carroll 1st on the team sheet? Always the most successful team in the premiership, MancU were a laughing stock when he took over and no one could predict if Everton were going to finish top 8 or bottom 6

  2. If we really have ambition, then there’s only one manager in Spain that I’d want, Diego Simeone, he has set the place alight over there and wouldn’t cry if we didn’t give him a couple of hundred million to spend

  3. Moyes doesn’t really cut it for me,id have to say Jurgen Klopp, but stay clear of his brother Clippety. C.O.Y.I.

  4. Yeah, Moyes has a lot of experience, but that means we know what we’d get – and he isn’t much different from Allardyce. Bilic, Howe, Dyche, so many better options. Sure, they don’t have prem experience, but I’d rather the devil I don’t know in this case.
