Andy Carroll has revealed how his girlfriend Billi Mucklow was ready to sell the match ball after his hat-trick against Arsenal last month.
The Hammers hitman showed all the old sparkle was back and admits it was the high spot of his career this season.
However, on returning home after the match , his partner Billi asked if she could try to sell the souvenir on the internet – a request that was flatly declined by Carroll.
He said: “Personally, my most outstanding memory of this season has to be that hat-trick against Arsenal.
“I’ve got the match ball and it’s placed in a glass case, safely locked away in a cupboard at home where no one can touch it.
“Which is just as well really because my missus asked me the other day if she could put in on the internet and sell it.
“It was one of those questions where she said she was joking but you know that if I’d said yes then it would be long gone by now.
“But that match ball means a lot to me. It helps to show that – touch wood – I have put the awful run of injuries behind me and am banging in the goals again.”
Yeah the poor mare must be short of a bob or two.Ask for a pay rise Andy 🙂
It was a great hat trick and one of the highlights of my season. It’s up there with payets free kicks and Andy Carrolls goal against Chelsea.
The words ‘put it on the internet and sell it’ have ‘for charity’ missing. Shame on you Mucklow, how very cheap of you.
Totally agree with you Just Saying… maybe 100 pairs of Jimmy Choo shoes are not enough for her… poor Ms Mucklow, she doesn’t have the money for her breast surgery… come on Andy, don’t be so cheap… 😉

Hats off to ms mucklow. Obviously a shrewd businesswoman and entrepreneur. Like posh with becks she onviously appreciates that her husband has golden balls.
