Ahead of deadline day tomorrow, anxious West Ham United fans will be wary of late bids for their few remaining key players. After sixteen departures it seems only Jarrod Bowen is off limits and the remaining starters could be vulnerable to a bid from a Premier League side in need of last-minute recruitments.
However, according to GreenStreetHammers’ report this morning, quoting a source close to the player, there’s zero chance of Taty Castellanos being one of those who leaves.
In their article ‘Why is Taty Castellanos so angry” they detail why the Argentine forward actually feels a sense of failure at not being able to keep West Ham in the Premier League last season and how he is a man on a mission, absolutely dedicated to getting the club back into the top flight:
“..the source was unambiguous that Castellanos has never once looked for a way out. At no point, the source said, has he asked to leave West Ham or indicated he’d be open to speaking with another club if an approach came in. If anything, he’s gone out of his way to shut that door before it could even open. “He’s instructed his agents to reject all calls on his behalf,” the source said.
Taty – absolutely committed to getting West Ham out of the Championship: Apparently his anger is misunderstood
“He blames himself, and if he can’t help this club win and achieve promotion, he’ll never forgive himself for it,” the source said. “He’s committed. But he’s got something to prove.”
In other words, the anger isn’t disengagement.
By this account, it’s the opposite. A player used to being the difference-maker wherever he’s gone is struggling with a first real taste of failure, and it’s showing up in ways that are easy to misread from the stands”
Compared with the want-aways and the deserters who have already jumped ship having themselves caused the HMS West Ham to hit the rocks, Castellanos deserves huge credit for sticking around to slug it out in the second division.
No wonder he already has his own song. If he can grab the goals to score the points and fire West Ham back towards the top of the league, he’ll maybe start to crack a smile, along with the rest of us.
So pleased tatty is staying and up for the fight to get back to the premiership but nuno may well cost us ponits with his tatics just as he did last season we have to really go at teams if we are going win promotion this is a tough leaque and we will be one of the teams other teams will up their game for games against us and from what we have seen in the last few leaque games they will belive they can win and thats down to nuno some how i cant see nuno being the man to leads us back to the premiership with him in charge i doubt we will even make the play offs
Forwards forwards forwards. Are management not going to address our woeful defence?
I feel we have the firepower to outscore anyone in this league but there are going to be times when we need to dig in for a 1-0 win. Our defence simply are not good enough or capable of securing a clean sheet when under pressure.
Come on Nuno, step up.
Looked like he wants to be here after the way he went to the fans at Watford. It’s Nuno I can’t understand,he just watches from pitch side ,no real engagement with the players, then he says we deserved more out of the game , we had 1 shot on target what game was he watching . He plays the kids in the cup but doesn’t use them when the game needed energy, frustrating to say the least . I must admit I don’t know why he was kept on as his tactics threw away more than enough points to avoid relegation. I feel he will be gone sooner than later but so will promotion .

Great news BUT I fear he hasn’t known Nuno that long and will probably change his mind Once nuno has stuck the boot in !!
I have never thought Tatty was angry because he’s been told he is staying. This story seems to show it. I hope the rest of the team get behind him put the fight in that is needed to get us out of this mess.
MT, by my reckoning we have transferred out half a dozen first team regular players and conversely signed up roughly the same amount as frequently starting.
All others have been peripheral and have been cut adrift to lower the payroll.
Let’s see how the next seven or eight games go (results wise) as we’re then going into the next transfer window to add to what we have currently.
