Carlos Tevez is the inspiration for Manuel Lanzini.
With a possible debut for the Irons against Norwich tomorrow the young Argentinian has already adopted the former legend as his Upton Park role model.
He made it clear on the official site that he is extremely aware of the impact Tevez had on Upton Park declaring: “I know the Club from Argentinian players, Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez.
“I know that the fans are very supportive, the team is very competitive and this is all important to a player’s development.
“Tevez is an amazing player. He made history here but we are very different players. I am here to try to make my own history for this club and have a place in the heart of the fans.
“I have already spoken with the manager. I told him I was looking forward to starting training, to getting fit and getting up to speed with my colleagues. It was great to have a chat with him.
Hope is half as good as Tevez
wouldn’t that be something 🙂
If he is half as good we need to make sure it’s not a one year visit,
If by January he shows the promise we need to get him signed early before the Vultures start circling
Heskey’s available apparently.
Are you Spoonie in disguise?
scotty keep saying it on every post does not make it funny,
Heskey is available apparently
No still not funny,
A year ago BFS would have been trying to sign him and would have been successful a nod given him a 5 year contract and that would not have been funny either,
Try wetpants they will laugh for hours after they have spent a week doing the stats
haha just keeping you on your toes bubs,i thought it was a little bit funny on the seats post straight after all the technical jargon,it was just a silly whim all better now.nice to know we’re going for the flair players now though innit?its like a fat weights been lifted from us all.god bless super slav and all who sail in her.
