New Hammers injury blow and “it looks bad”

|

West Ham expect to learn later in the week the extent of Ryan Fredericks injured ankle but early reports received at CandH aren’t great!

The summer free signing from Fulham was forced off after appearing as a sub for Zaba in the second half at Huddersfield.

And speaking after the game Football:London reported Manuel Pellegrini as saying: “Ryan has a twist in his ankle, he cannot walk, so we played the last five minutes with one player less but he told me he couldn’t walk. We will see tomorrow with the doctors how bad it is.”

And this evening a well informed senior Hammers source told us in a text message: “It looks bad and we shall be scanning later in the week. It really is a blow.”

The news, will pile fresh pressure on the manager and Zabaleta who looked distinctly fatigued when he left the action on Saturday.
