New hope on Mubama’s West Ham future

There’s new hope on Divin Mubama’s West Ham future.  The Hammers are continuing to talk with the player’s agents who are determined to tick as many boxes as possible on the teenager’s future writes Hughie Southon. With nearly six months left before the end of the season there is confidence among those close to the player that a deal can be done.

Claret and Hugh has learned exclusively from sources close to Mubama that talks are continuing and that there is no hostility involved, simply a desire to get a deal done as soon as possible. We were told that with the Hammers in Europe for the third successive year it is a great club for a youngster to grow up within and the real hope is that an agreement can be arrived at very soon.

Mubama himself is of course keen to get first team minutes on the clock which is another consideration from those close to him who have been talking to Claret and Hugh.

We were told: “Regardless of what is being put out there, this is not all about  money – he wants a chance to show himself at the highest level and hopefully that may come this weekend at Burnley with injuries affecting the team. Either way the talks are continuing and his hopes remain high to remain at the club he has been with since childhood.”
