Hammers midfielder interests Barca

Barcelona are reported to be keen on Pablo Fornals appears although Seville probably remain favourites for his signature as a free agent. Claret and Hugh has revealed in the past that West Ham  has revealed that the Spaniard wants to move on after slipping down the David Moyes pecking order and now ITK Fabrizio Romano has been discussing the situation in his Daily Briefing.

As yet he admits he has no definite news on any interest from Barca claiming the “surprise links” have been mentioned as him becoming a cover for the injured Gavi. Despite the fact that we are talking Barcelona here it seems unlikely that the midfielder would be keen to again become a cover player so Seville must have a great chance of him signing a pre-contract in January

Romano admits however that he is still unaware of any talks for the 27 year old who is now in his fourth season with the Irons having made 145 appearances and scored 16 goals.

Romano said: “I’m not aware of concrete talks for Fornals so far, there’s still nothing decided in terms of new midfielder; , the situation is still very quiet. Barcelona’s priority is to use funds on Financial Fair Play to register Vitor Roque.”
