New Supporters Trust meeting tomorrow

|
hammerssocialclubA meeting will be held tomorrow afternoon (Sat Oct 8th) aimed at setting up a new Supporters Trust.

The kick off meeting will held at the Hammers Social club in Castle Street off Green Street at 3pm .

In a statement the group delivered to CandH and other fan sites they say:Discussion has been in overdrive in all forms of media about our wonderful club’s current malaise and while we all hope it will begin to pass a number of people feel very strongly about a number of issues.
“Of primary concern has been the lack of any central voice from the fans to the board, media or social media. Our websites are superb and reading fans forums it is clear there are many excellent / diverse ideas out there but actually where do they all lead ?

“Of course, some may be read by people in the media or at West Ham but it is clear the majority of correspondence to the club is not replied to making people angry, upset and feeling they are not being listened to. Any response usually boils down to a tweet from the Dave’s or a club statement – very impersonal. The SAB has been shown to be a puppet in the hands of the club.”

“In response to this it has been decided to call a meeting at the start on Saturday 8th October to propose the formation of a supporters Trust. It is noted that such efforts have been made previously and failed but there seems to be a groundswell of opinion that this time it will succeed as many from previous attempts have put forward their names, ideas and groundwork covered.

“Many fans are unhappy (to say the least) with the move and all its nuances while again there is great support from many for the supporters club itself to move to Stratford. We have lost so much that we feel we just have to do something and keep some things going.West Ham seem to have washed their hands with the HSC while Newham Council do not seem too bothered at this fine institution. All being well the supporters Trust will be a real place based at the HSC with West Ham fans at its core giving fans a chance to voice any concerns they have which can then be put forward to the club.

“We would hope to eventually be respected by West Ham as other football supporters Trusts are around the country . We will keep a check on what goes on with the club and being there to represent the interest of our fans going forward.

“Many will say too little too late but it seems now more than ever us fans need something. Be clear this Trust is not an anti-OS crusade but one in the name of the fans of West Ham to keep the spirit of the Boleyn going as we venture into our first season at the new stadium.

“Your support and input will be crucial and gratefully received as the Trust gets off the ground. For those unable to make the 8th October a second meeting has already been arranged for Saturday 22nd October again at the HSC with a 12 noon start so business can be completed for us to go see the Hammers smash Sunderland.
Thanks and Come on you bloody Irons !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone from here allowed to go,i mean we wanted BFS out & got called anti the board & club but now we dont shout from the rooftops about everything we are sycophants of the club. Some people need to make their minds up.

  • Radai Lama...Rises From The Ashes says:

I think is funny Rick. The same faces saying we were against the board if we didnt back BFS now saying we are up their ar*sehole lol.I had an absoute mare on the ticket line a few weeks back but who wants to listen to me moaning about it everyday lol 🙂

  • Eddie says:

Its just how it works fellas. If people dont agree with you they will condemn you but when the boots on the other foot they change tack totally.
I for one am in total agreement that we should have groups like this & i tip my hat to these fans who are getting it off the ground.I think any West Ham fan will find it a positive, but it still doesnt change the fact that the few fans who want to constantly moan on blogs are achieving nothing. In the main they are just barrack room lawyers,no more no less.

  • RickHammer says:

They are full of sh1t Eddie. When Fat Man was about the experts ripped this place apart for being against the club & trying to damage it,now when it suits it is in the boards pocket.Like i said the tw@ts need to make their minds up.

The geezer that really makes me laugh is Rugby Irons,he spent about two years on here lapping up Hughs anti hippo stuff & now he is always on Wets slagging Hugh off lol.Now there is a two faced ******. wonder if he has managed to break into Bradys house yet to count the money in her piggie bank & take a selfie of himself with one of her wage slips 🙂

  • JB says:

Who gives a **** what others think. Many of them dont even go to games, some of the mugs wih the most to say dont even live in this country ffs.

    • essexclarets says:

While i agree that who gives a t0ss but It doesn’t matter if you go to the games or not, my opinion is as valid as anyone elses.
i think that everything has got way out of hand & OTT. It’s becoming mass hysteria, lots of little things have come together & suddenly the world as we know it is coming to an end.
We have moved grounds & there are a number of problems that need to be sorted & the team are playing sh#t. Thats it…. FFS calm down, no wonder everyone is laughing at us atm.

      • JB says:

Well are you one of the ones with the most to say against everything when never even setting foot near the ground essexclaret?
If not i wasnt referring to you was i 😉

  • Stevo says:

I must say that i think anyone who believes the vast majority of users on here are pro board or sycophants are barking up the wrong tree or talking out of their behinds.
They clearly didnt read or use this site during the Allardyce times.
At the end of the day others will swing an opinion to what suits them at the time.

i find it strange some of the comments on here, the meeting is open to all west ham fans, s supporters trust is not pro board or anti board its pro fans.
Its not being organised by anyone on WHTID so no need with the stupid comments on this subject, If you want to be involved in setting up this then feel free to attend, it is as simple as that.

    • JB says:

You find anything strange if it involves your besties on that site.So you just have the ability to only read what suits you or didnt you manage to read the sh£t on there about Hugh & this site?l?l

      • JB says:

& you most definately aint been reading this site yesterday when people were calling guys on here board sycophants or you would undrstand what the ****ing comments were on about.

        • RickHammer says:

You forget JB,its ok for them to slag Hugh off or this site because they are his mates on there. As usual Nigel goes in all guns blazing while not having a clue what we were on about in the first place.

          • mywhufc says:

            all guns blazing?
            i haven’t got a gun to blaze.
do what you like, say what you like, but when the first comment on an article about a fans meeting starts like yours then i don’t think I’ve put my foot in it by pointing out the meeting has nothing to do with WHTID.
You wanna behave like kids in playground, knock your self out, i don’t myself so when i do go on WHTID now, which isn’t often i don’t partake in their childish behaviour either.
i tried a while ago to call a truce but TBH some on WHTID behaved in such a way that i understood why you lot on here behave the way you do.
Slag me off, call me names, don’t care, all i wanted to put across was that the meeting is open to all, which I’ve now done.
Now I’m off home because my mum expects me in before 9 and I’m late.

          • RickHammer says:

I know you aint thick so i can tell you this easily im sure without writing it in capitals.I was on about the people in general who dug us out for our stance on BFS,anyone from any site who popped at us as being against the board.Anyone on another site who now says were sycophantic because we dont moan 24/7.Where did i mention that place in it.
And to be fair i dont think the men who came on here yesterday were anything to do with that site so it makes your comment pretty well null & void.

      • mywhufc says:

i keep out the inter site rivalry, what i found strange was that on here the supporters trust was linked to WHTID when its been organised by fans on KUMB.
i didn’t read there site yesterday, and generally just read the articles on here not the comments.

        • RickHammer says:

Well if you had read the comments from yesterday then you would have known that we were on about some blokes who postec on here sterday who said that the users on here were sycophantic towards the board. We wasnt even on about WHTID to start off with. Not until they started popping at Hugh & this site.
Unless im total cracking up i didnt even see that site mentioned in the original exchanges.

        • Stan The Man says:

Its pretty ripe of you to come here telling the boys to wind it in about the other site isnt it when you then go join a conversation there where this place is getting dumped on but you say nothing to them.
I mean that isnt unbalanced at all is it.

  • Sams P45 says:

Haha you load of west ham board asslickers.Ok i hold my hands up even i am struggling to agree with that having seen you lot when hippohead was in charge.I wish i could agree but the truth tells me i cant haha 😀
