Noble admits his mistake

|

MarkNobleMark Noble has tonight held his hands up to the goal which gave Norwich City the lead at Upton Park this afternoon.

The skipper played a sloppy pass toward James Tomkins and watched in despair as the ball was picked up and hammered home to give the Canaries their first goal.

Noble has undoubtedly shown his worth as a skipper and was amazing at Manchester City really leading from the front but today was disappointing.

However, despite being forgiven for the goal by his manager Slaven Bilic after the game he has non the less explained his responsibility for the goal.

Bilic – interviews by Sky Sports – said: “I don’t blame players for those technical mistakes. It happens”

But the manager suggested that all was not well on second when Mark was again on the premises as Nathan Redmond was allowed to get onto his right peg and fire a cross shot past Adrian.

Noble tweeted: ” No games easy in the premier league, another tough game today, mistake by me!! but boys dug in and got a good point #COYI”

‘Disappointing’ is a gross understatement – he was hopeless today – a neat, organised Norwich really found him out – he looked slow, negative and completely of the pace. It was a toss up between him and Jenkinson for the worst player on the pitch!

Said last week he was going to struggle to keep his place and this week I would drop him and play Obiang alongside Kouyate that might also bring him to his senses about how we can not make these sloppy passes
But not saying he should never play,
