Noble runs for miles

|

MarkNobleMark Noble was the team’s busiest player of those on parade in Saturday’s game against Sunderland.

According to stats produced by top Twitter source – @EPLStatman -the midlfielder covered more distance than any other player from either team.

Nobes completed an extraordinary 7.3 miles and coupled with his pass completion rate had strong claims for the man of the match award.

In the first half every one on his 23 passes found their target although the same source reveals that Diafra Sakho managed to only  complete  three of 12 in the first 45 minutes.

Not really surprising given he has to do most of Nolan’s work! Also bear in mind he actually runs when he moves around the pitch as opposed to the captains stroll.

  • oldiron says:

Well said Doughball, my thoughts exactly.
As for Sam stating that he wants us back after the International break firing on all cylinders, WELL pick the right players in their right positions and PLAY the right system ( Diamond shape midfield ) and we will, but I wont hold my breath cos he could have done that every match since christmas but hasn’t, hence our position now.

Allardyce is a joke,he set us up with one up top saturday & then claims to be a hero by changing to two up top in the second half.Davie Proven on sky was saying all first half that the system was useless for Sakho on his own having balls pumped up to him when i watched a rerun of the game. How the hell can we play at home against a team in relegation trouble with one striker.Which was then compounded by the fact he played two wingers.Fourty+ crosses to nobody, does he really think his pet Nolan has the speed to get into the box on the end of one of these crosses,he couldnt keep up with a pensioner running for a bus let alone two wingers on a football pitch. Its laughable, but Sam Lovers everything is going to plan isnt it!

  • bubbles says:

Headless chickens also run miles and achieve absolutely nothing ! Nolan and Noble in midfield is a joke as they are both poor . Again the tactics were all wrong …. 40 plus crosses when Caroll was playing might have achieved something ……. which brings me on to Jarvis ..OMG what a waste of space .

Yeah Downing must be so pleased with life these days.He is playing some of the best football of his career, gets a recall to the England team all because he is playing in his new position at the tip of the diamond. An invention of his game Samasaurus was raving about until Nolan his little boy comes back.Downing gets shunted back on the wing & his season disintergrates in most ways. Now he gets put at the tip again when we are playing rubbish & surprise, surprise we look a better team again.Got to agree Ty it is laughable & if these Sam supporters cant see his clear flaws in his restricted style of management they are blind.Samasaurus out for the good of our club 🙂

  • bubs says:

If BFS wants to stay then Nolan should never be in the team or on the bench for the rest of the season and the board should be told to sell him in the summer,
As this will not happen unless Nolan falls on his own sword then BFS should go,
Noble has his limitations but you need a engine room as well as a playmaker and he will always give 100%,
Noble looks 100% better when Nolan is not on the pitch but so does WHU
    BFS OUT and NOLAN

  • TysonM says:

We could have Messi,Ronaldo & Aguerro & Sam would probably still play them out of position to incorporate Nolan into his team bubs. You are fighting a losing battle my friend, lol 😉

  • bubs says:

Tyson something’s take time,I like lost cause,s that’s why I support our club,
It would have been easy years ago to become a London ManU supporter or join the Chelsea buy at any cost mob,
This is something your and a few understand we are the underdogs we don’t just want to buy a trophy room and become some owners play thing,
The problem is most remember Nolan and BFS at Wembley picking up a trophy for finishing 3rd,
Not many remember 3 people lifting the World Cup or scoring with a header a Wembley
I just want to be entertained, it’s not that hard to understand,
You don’t have to have all the best in the world to do that not many years ago I had the luck to turn up each week and watch Di Canio,Sinclair and Kanoute ( the memories)
What did that lot cost ?
Now it’s Jarvis,Nolan and O,Brien it’s not that hard to understand
    BFS OUT

  • TysonM says:

Youre making me feel old now bubs, seems only a couple of years ago di canio & kanoute were playing.Maybe i am becoming an old fossil like our manager 😀
