Nunez likely to make PL move

|

Darwin Nunez is likely to move to the Premier League this summer, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, but West Ham do not appear to be in the running to secure his signature.

The Hammers made an attempt to sign Nunez in the January transfer window but were unable to strike a deal with Benfica.

He has instead stayed with the Portuguese club but Di Marzio now reports that he is likely to move to England in this transfer window, with a variety of clubs chasing his signature.

The three clubs who are said to be closest to striking a deal are Spurs, who qualified for the Champions League this season, Arsenal, and Manchester United, per the journalist.

Boss David Moyes remains a big fan of Nunez and would love to secure his signature this summer but the likelihood is that the failure to qualify for the Europa League has killed off those hopes.
