Well the youngsters didn’t get much joy with Moyes being there, I think that set the rot in youngsters not getting a start. New manager should try to integrate a number of the better players.
and these great players, when they leave West Ham, they go on to bigger and better things do they? Don’t you think if they were any good that Sullivan would like to save himself £60 million here and there using home grown?

I think Umolu was likely to go under any manager. In the games I saw him play, he relied mostly on his enormous size more than anything.
The player who took his place mostly was Ajala who is a very different kettle of fish. Ajala relies on pace, ball control and agility. Since he came to us from Chelsea he has been little short of a sensation. One for the future.
