The transfer deal to take Lucas Paqueta to Manchester City is on the brink of collapse. That is according to Talk Sport and Sky Sports News who broke the story earlier today.
Claret and Hugh is currently attempting to contact it’s sources within the players camp, to verify the revelations.

The reports suggest the deal has broken down, and negotiations between the two clubs have ceased. As exclusively revealed to C&H via the players representatives, Paqueta will continue to put maximum effort into playing for West Ham.
The rumours surrounding the transfer, went as far as to suggest the deal is ‘90% unlikely’.
Pep Guardiola’s team have recently suffered a long term injury to midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. As a result City have made two bids for the Paqueta, the second of which is over £70M.
That valuation falls woefully short of West Ham’s valuation of the player which is £80m.
There is certainly more to come from this story. However, the club are remaining tight lipped on the issue.
