Paulo Fonseca For Me !

David Moyes’ time at West Ham has undoubtedly been a period of positive change. European qualification and a European trophy are no small feats. However, whispers of discontent have been growing louder and louder as the team struggles and the season winds down.

The fading dream of a fourth straight European season is a harsh reality. Moyes’ pragmatic approach, while effective at times, might be limiting the team’s attacking potential.

Enter Paulo Fonseca.

Fonseca’s attacking philosophy, built on possession and a 4-2-3-1 formation, offers a refreshing alternative to Moyes’ style. His success at Lille, including a top-four finish and a rock-solid defense, is a testament to his capabilities.

This doesn’t diminish Moyes’ accomplishments. His ability to instil discipline and a winning mentality has been crucial. But Fonseca might be the key to unlocking the attacking talent at West Ham, particularly players like Jarrod Bowen and the exciting Mohammed Kudus.

Fonseca’s system, with overlapping fullbacks creating space, could be a perfect fit for Kudus’ skillset. His adaptability and reputation for positive player relationships further strengthen his candidacy.

West Ham needs to make a tough decision. Do they take a chance on Fonseca’s attacking vision and potentially unlock a new level for the club? In my opinion, the time is right for a change, and Paulo Fonseca looks like the perfect manager to lead West Ham into the future.

Moyes should stay websites like yours that continue to undermine him are divisive

Moyes should go and not because of C&H undermining him but because Moyes is a poor manager in spite of his many attributes. Moyes is holding WH back and paying the price for all the very poor squad building over the last seasons.
Spending a gross £450m on stars like Paqueta, Emerson, Bowen etc but what about Scamacca £45m, Cornet £17m, Ings £15m, Vlassic £25m, Downes £12m, Phillips loan, Benrahma £30m? Why have we had to rely on 34 year old Antonio as our only striker for 2 seasons? Why didn’t we take any of the forwards we were heavily linked with in January?
Why is it that our academy players are at the top PL2 league and way above the likes of Liverpool who successfully blood their youngsters that score and help them win PL games?
Yes be careful what you wish for eh? You might end up in the Champions League but best be good ol’ WH that fade and die eh?

Under Pellegrine we were terrible and he was supposed to take us to the next level. Pell had a very reputation as a manager too. So if we do go for Fonseca, let’s hope he is more successful than Pell. I am sure the football will easier to watch but as long as we’re not battling relegation.

David moyes should remain as manager he has led us into Europe we have won a trophy and the club is in a better place now more than it has ever been ok there has been a few hiccups along the way but all teams have that even Man City don’t see them changing their manager because of it I think David moyes has been treated harshly given how much he has done for the club David moyes deserves a long term deal to stay at West Ham Utd and carry on building on what he has achieved

I remember when moyes first took over he said he wanted to lower the age of the squad
Fours years and 450 million on we have the second oldest squad in the premiership
Also he can not see any other way to play look at Newcastle we were 3/1 up and moyes takes off a forward for a defender and we lose 4/3. Sullivan should call time n moyes and appoint a younger more exciting manager ( if he listens to Steidten )

The huge outlay in transfers during Moyes reign has given a successful return in part. However, the European success has largely been against teams with a fraction of that budget. You could say Moyes’ real success was consistent high placing to gain Europe. Any new manager is on for a hiding to nothing as Moyes has bled the current squad dry! So much much work to be done and so much uncertainty with the squad and contracts etc. Crucial summer ahead but a new manager needed, sorry Moyes.

It’s time for Moyes to go. If he had any sense he would have walked away after last years win in Europe. He would have had the respect of most West Ham fans and could have been seen by some as a legend. But it is not just the turgid football we produce. Many of the above points are spot on. Bring through the youth, give them a chance to make a few mistakes but stick with it. Liverpool , City and Arsenal all bring through their youngsters.
His inability to have a plan B or C is ridiculous. Many of the so called flops we have bought have all been good before coming to us and gone on to do good things. Scamacca was a good striker and has proved that at Atalanta. Haller is another one. Lastly the ridiculous small pool of players we had to choose from with an impending Europa Cup knock out section to come. A few of my mates are Everton fans and even in their dire straights wouldn’t want him back. Lastly I want to be entertained going to the London stadium is not enjoyment which it should be. Give the a new progressive manager a chance
